“Jersey Pizza” is a playful conceptual rebrand born out of hometown pride and a bit of friendly rivalry. As a Jersey native, I wanted to challenge the age-old claim that New York has the best pizza by giving a local pizzeria a bold new identity. With the cheeky tagline “It’s better than NYC,” this project captures the street-smart, witty confidence that defines New Jersey’s spirit.
The rebrand features hand-drawn illustrations, including a custom mascot—a mischievous “pizza cat”—and an original pizza-topping pattern that adds a fun, urban flair to the brand. The visual system extends across packaging, digital interfaces, advertising, and editorial applications, uniting everything under a funky, modern, and illustrative aesthetic.
